I can branch into ideas of toxic masculinity.

 

Ideas of the Adonis.

 

Body as an object.

 

Don’t want to fall into ideas of health related aspects.

 

Focus on judging the book by it’s cover.

 

Social, cultural impact of body image.

 

How it’s changed.

 

Look at the hero and how it’s represented through time.

 

Ideas of theory.

 

Look at Greek statues and why those established ideas have carried up until now. Last chapter will be about fat Thor.

 

First chapter will be discussing the history of image through Greek and Roman gods.

 

Second chapter will be about why that might become important. How those things have carried on. Western culture. Periods in culture where there’s a rebirth in obsessiveness about the body. Relevance.

 

Third chapter. Got someone looking like a god, turned him into something more human. Fat Thor. Then I can speak about the future of the male image.

Reflective Statement

  Reflective Statement  The Major project has been my favourite out of the three stages. I feel like I had much better time management. I didn’t feel rushed at any point, and I think that is because I had everything planned out and I knew what I had to get done by a certain point. I set myself personal deadlines on the way and made sure I stuck by them so I could complete everything I needed to complete in time. It was really satisfying seeing all the work I completed over the three stages come together as one big project.    I have learnt a lot of new skills during the Major project. Skills that I will take further. I am now much more confident in Maya and animating as a whole.     I am happy with the outcome of the project. I am pleased with my animation, and it has turned out better than I thought it would.   I am looking forward to taking things further with animation.
