 The Dekilios Monster's roar is extremely loud. I need to make sure it's design shows that. It could have a bigger neck, a huge gut and stand tall. If I was to make the monster look a bit like a brass instrument, for example a Tuba or a Trombone it's design will tell people it makes a loud sound. T.G.E.A. Information The T.G.E.A. was founded by Yundo Sitaga, a celestial cartographer and explorer during the War of Occupation. He believed that if one organisation controlled ownerships of celestial bodies, trade roots and territories and formally documented them in databases, it would end the war. He was right. The war ended after the establishment of the agency. Laws were then passed. Explorers who wish to own celestial bodies, trade and claim territories had to have a T.G.E.A. license. A license was also required for mining allocated resources and bodies, to travel in certain areas and use T.G.E.A. facilities and   even own certain gadgets and equipment. With the new laws in place, many Tutoans acquired T.G.E.A. licences. Tutoans began claiming planets, stars, comets, trade routes, territories and travelled to uncharted lands.  I am now at a point where I have the main body of the ship mapped out as well as the scanner and propulsion hub. I also have the textures and details in mind. This is what the ship looks like at the moment. Next, I'm going to sketch up some more ideas. I want to add some more little gadgets to it and exposed mechanic parts. I will also add some personalisation. Yobi and Sangu have customised the ship a little bit. 

 

Dekilios plans: The ship lands in a crater on the planet called Cirodom Basin. Surrounding the basin are jagged cliffs. Ther eare mountains in the background. There are also purple crystals dotted around the planet. These crystals provide Pathenite. Pathenite crystals  Most Pathenite crystals are purple as shown above. However, some have a slight pink hue, as shown below.  Rodokae Rodokae or sometimes called the Blushing Plant is a pink plant. It can only be found on two planets! Dekilios and it's neighbouring planet, Kotikanui. It's rarety means that it is extremely expensive. It has several uses. It's pigment can be used as a dye, it can be eaten and can also be used to show one's wealth. Rodokae is also the name of a settlement on Kotikanui. The settlement made it's money through selling Rodokae leaves. The T.G.E.A's logo is a Rodokae plant. In Tutoan culture, the plant is the symbol of good wealth and fortune.   After making some adjustments, I began thinking more about how the ship is powered. The ship is fitted with a gadget called a  Dynatrodom Prism. This allows the ship to teleport. The runes which will be added to the ship glow when it is about to teleport. The runes could have something to do with how the ship is powered. If i was to go with this idea, I wouldn't have to worry about rocket thrusters since then i'd have the issue of the flames.  My Idea At the back of the ship, part of the propulsion hub is exposed. This is basically an engine with a twist. This engine is capable of refining many different materials and turns them into fuel to power the ship. The hub and the scanner work together. The scanner has many uses however. It can scan for hazards, materials, other ships, locations and can also tell you a lot of information about your surroundings such as climate and your whereabouts. I began rethinking the design of the ship. I came up with this drawing. This ship design is inspired by the Chichen Itza. I really like the dome at the top. I then needed to think about the ship's landing gear and ways of breaking up the ship's symmetry. I was found it hard to imagine these things in my head. I needed to see what they would look like from different angles.  To help with the draw ups I made a quick demo model of the ship. This model will also help with the orthographs, turnarounds and more concept art.  This demo model will be added to over time and become the final model of the ship. After modelling one leg for the landing gear, i started thinking about how it would fold when the ship takes off. I realised that it wouldn't be possible. This is the ship after some adjustments.
