Expanded Ideas

 For my animation, I have decided to focus on the design of characters, environment and the star ship. My animation will be the star ship getting closer to the screen, when it passes the screen the camera will turn around and show the star ship heading towards the planet. It'll then show the two alien explorers inside the stars hip. Then it'll show the creature on the planet's surface looking up at the ship. The creature will then roar at it. The point of the animation is to show off the designs.


I am thinking that the two alien explorers should be brothers. One is intelligent, who will be short and fat and the other is long and skinny who is stupid. The intelligent brother is the one who drives the ship. They are a famous intergalactic exploration duo.

Reflective Statement

  Reflective Statement  The Major project has been my favourite out of the three stages. I feel like I had much better time management. I didn’t feel rushed at any point, and I think that is because I had everything planned out and I knew what I had to get done by a certain point. I set myself personal deadlines on the way and made sure I stuck by them so I could complete everything I needed to complete in time. It was really satisfying seeing all the work I completed over the three stages come together as one big project.    I have learnt a lot of new skills during the Major project. Skills that I will take further. I am now much more confident in Maya and animating as a whole.     I am happy with the outcome of the project. I am pleased with my animation, and it has turned out better than I thought it would.   I am looking forward to taking things further with animation.
