  1. The ship's legs compress like a hydraulic press to lower the ship or match the terrain. 2. This drops down to make a ramp. This is how you enter and exit the ship. 3. These runes glow when the ship is about to teleport.  4. Behind these flaps are cannons. 5. This shows that the ship's power is on. 6. These compress to allow the ship's legs to tuck away.

 The Wonder isn't a fast ship. It was built by the Tutoans to carry a lot of cargo between planets. It is fitted with a Dynatrodom Prism which allows it to teleport. The ship was built by a shipwright called Orah Naba. Days after completing the ship, Orah murdered an overseer called Botahu Mokigao at the T.G.E.A facility. After the murder,  the T.G.E.A discussed dismantling the ship however Admiral Wataha thought that it was a stupid idea. The ship was one of the best he had ever seen. Wataha saved the ship and decided to keep it in his spare hangar at the facility.  Unfortunately, the ship fell into disrepair.   The ship was kept prisoner in the hangar for years until the T.G.E.A announced the mission to Dekilios.  The ship was then restored and handed over to Sangu and Yobi.   The Ancient Pyramids, Mayan ruins (Chichen Itza), the Parliament Building in Fiji helped me think of this idea. The Pyramid represents power. On the Tutoan's home planet, Attozigi, there could be alot of pyramid shaped ruins.  I really like this ship concept and I am probably going to take it further. I also like the way the landing gear look like arms and the thrusters look like feet and then the windscreen looks like an eye. It is like a robot.

 

 I am starting to think more about how the brothers' starship will look. The design of Attozigi will influence the things which come from the planet, the ship being one of them.  Attozigi and Tutoans are partially inspired by Fiji and the Maori. This Fijian building here would be  great to use as influence for not only Tutoan architecture but the design of the starship. The roof of the building is very angular.  The architecture and ship could also be very decorative, brightly coloured and interesting to look at. I could also use some aspects of this Maori building in my designs.

  Yobi Sangu Soon, once I have thought more about his outfit, I will do a full body turnaround. Since drawing these, I have made some changes.

 Since Yobi joined the T.G.E.A. (the Tutoan Galactic Exploration Agency) he has been haunted by a story about a Tutoan explorer going missing on a planet called Dekilios. The explorer was tasked with a fairly simple mission of retrieving Pathenite (a valuable element) from the planet. Immediately after landing on the planet, the explorer set off his distress beacon. A nearby Niikhari (another race) space station saw the beacon and the station's rescue team decided to help. When the rescue team landed on the planet, the explorer was nowhere to be seen. Instead, stood a colossal, grotesque, creature. The rescue team then contacted the space space station, demanding backup. That was the last time anyone heard from them again... Yobi and his brother have been given a new mission by Admiral Wakataha. Their mission is to go to Dekilios and confirm the creature's legitimacy. Yobi is terrified... Yobi- a Tutoan explorer belonging to the T.G.E.A. Sangu's younger brother.  Sangu- a Tutoan explorer belonging to the T.G.E.A. Yobi's older brother.  T.G.E.A - the Tutoan Galactic Exploration Agency. Yundo Sitaga - the founder of the T.G.E.A.. He was a celestial cartographer and explorer during the War of Occupation. He believed that if one organisation controlled ownerships of celestial bodies, trade roots and territories and formally documented them in databases, it would end the war. The War of Occupation- was a war between Tutoan explorers, traders, miners, celestial cartographers, monarchs and many more. The war began due to disagreement about the ownership of celestial bodies, trade roots and territories.   Yobi Sangu The two joined the T.G.E.A. as soon as they were old enough. Sangu climbed the ranks incredibly quickly. He was just what the agency were looking for. He was smart, brave and reliable. Yobi however, was terrified of space. He had read too many stories about the horrors of it. One story, was about a Tutoan explorer who was tasked with a fairly simple mission of retrieving Pathenite from the planet Dekilios. Immediately after landing on the planet, the explorer set off his distress beacon.  A nearby Niikhari (another race) space station saw the beacon and the station's rescue team decided to help.   Tutoan is pronounced: Too-Toe-Un The main characters of my animation are Tutoans. Tutoans make great explorers, merchants and artisans. Tutoans originated from the province of Tutoa on a planet called Attozigi. Most Tutoan explorers belong to the Tutoan Galactic Exploration Agency or T.G.E.A.  You need a license to be able to take resources from all planets, comets and other celestial bodies protected by the T.G.E.A. 

 

  I did some experimenting with different types of aliens. My favourite is the middle one. He looks like he'd be an explorer. The one on the right looks like a king or a person of power and the one on the left is an alien that lives on a toxic planet. 

 

 For my animation, I have decided to focus on the design of characters, environment and the star ship. My animation will be the star ship getting closer to the screen, when it passes the screen the camera will turn around and show the star ship heading towards the planet. It'll then show the two alien explorers inside the stars hip. Then it'll show the creature on the planet's surface looking up at the ship. The creature will then roar at it. The point of the animation is to show off the designs. I am thinking that the two alien explorers should be brothers. One is intelligent, who will be short and fat and the other is long and skinny who is stupid. The intelligent brother is the one who drives the ship. They are a famous intergalactic exploration duo. 

 Two alien explorers land on an undiscovered planet believed to support life. The two get out the starship and explore. When the main character is pointing at something and speaking to his friend about it, he turns around when he doesn't get a reply. To his horror, he sees his friend getting dragged away by a hideous creature. Terrified, he runs back to the ship. He tries to start up the starship however it is out of fuel! He is now very scared because he is trapped on the planet with the creature. After days of hiding in his starship, he finally gets the courage to go off and find the element needed to make the fuel. He gets out and uses a gadget to locate the element. He searches the planet but he can't find the element. When he is just about to give up, the gadget locates the element. He follows the signal. When the signal is at its strongest, he looks up hoping to see it in front of him. However, he is face to face with the creature that killed his friend. The creature'...

 The Plant An Alien boy is given a plant in a pot for his birthday. He leaves it on a windowsill in the sun and it dries out! In the middle of the flower is planet Earth and it is slowly withering away. His alien mother tells him to water it, he does and a tsunami washes over Earth. The Jurassic Chest An alien boy has grown up and has put all of his toy dinosaurs in a chest. Years later, he returns to his bedroom and finds the chest containing the dinosaurs. Suddenly, people are being chased down the street by dinosaurs. (The dinosaurs don't have to look real. They can be comical).  Magnetic Personality  A lonely boy finds a magnet in a box. Suddenly, he has a magnetic personality and everyone likes him.  Earth Has Two Moons Our moon has been visited by astronauts. No life was found and they planted a flag in it. The other does have a man on the moon on it and it is made of cheese. Only one small boy can see it.  All Of The Colours  One day, an alien boy us...

  IDEA DUMP   Alien explorers go to an undiscovered planet believed to have lifeforms living on it. They land and look around the planet. When exploring, one of the explorers are devoured by a creature. Terrified, the other explorer runs back to the starship and tries to take off but to his horror he realises that the spaceship is out of fuel! He is now very scared. This planet is not safe. Panicking, he begins clicking random buttons, hoping to find the mayday beacon button (The explorer who was killed by the creature was the only one out of the two who knew how to operate the controls properly). First, he clicks the “Cabin Temperature Button”. As the temperature increases he begins to go pink. He then frantically pushes another button and the temperature goes back to normal. Next, he pushes the “Meal Button”. A hot dog flies out of a hole and into his mouth. Then, several others shoot out whilst the spaceship’s AI assistant says in a very calm voice “Dinner is served”....

 

 I have really enjoyed this project. I liked the challenge of trying to think of characters, a setting and plot using key words and phrases. I am happy with the characters, story and setting I created. I was interested in this project and I always felt motivated to work on it. I loved writing the plot, it is something I have always enjoyed. I feel like I have learnt a lot this project. I have learnt more about character design and myself. Overall, it was a very fun project to work on and I am happy with the result.
