The Coin

 The Coin. 


This work, which is called The Coin, was made during Nat's workshop. The coins seem to look like they reach the ends of their paths at different times, however that is not the case. Both coin one and coin two reach the end at the same time, making this an optical illusion. The picture below shows the coins in motion. The second coin goes alot faster since in the middle section of its path there are larger gaps in-between the lines, compared to the first coin's path.

Reflective Statement

  Reflective Statement  The Major project has been my favourite out of the three stages. I feel like I had much better time management. I didn’t feel rushed at any point, and I think that is because I had everything planned out and I knew what I had to get done by a certain point. I set myself personal deadlines on the way and made sure I stuck by them so I could complete everything I needed to complete in time. It was really satisfying seeing all the work I completed over the three stages come together as one big project.    I have learnt a lot of new skills during the Major project. Skills that I will take further. I am now much more confident in Maya and animating as a whole.     I am happy with the outcome of the project. I am pleased with my animation, and it has turned out better than I thought it would.   I am looking forward to taking things further with animation.
